We engaged Different Perspective Training Ltd upon recommendation from the Royal Geographical Society and have been thoroughly impressed with Matt's delivery of the 2-day Off-Site Safety Management course. The delegates, who were all either Head of School or Fieldwork leaders, were incredibly pleased with the delivery of this course, so much so, that we have booked Matt and Different Perspective Training to deliver this essential course to the rest of our team of Fieldwork Leaders. Some of the feedback received was;

- As a manager, it helped me to identify areas for improvement in terms of process, protocol and communications.

- I feel much more empowered to make decisions in a fieldtrip scenario.

- I think this should be required training for all staff on fieldtrips, not just trip leaders.

- Excellent training style with varied teaching and learning activities and very useful role-play.

University of Plymouth - Mr Mark Hagger, Marine & Field Safety Co-ordinator

Having attended many first aid courses over the years with the [Charitable Organisations] and other professional agencies I can honestly say the first aid at work course delivered by Matt today and yesterday was by far the most relevant and memorable for me.
If you or your staff need training that isn’t just about ticking boxes then please do contact Matt.
He had really thought about our training needs before coming rather than delivering a standard death by PowerPoint presentation.
The practical elements were particularly engaging with the emphasis on using resources you have to hand rather than the neatness of a dressing and the way scenarios were presented to put you on the spot. Just like it would be in real life.

Ramsbury Brewing and Distilling Co. Ltd. - Hazel, Sales, Marketing and Events Manager

Matt clearly thoroughly knows his subject and delivered high quality, practical training that showed his training is up to date. His explanations of why to do certain things was particularly useful, as was his sharing of real world experience.

Thank you very much Matt!

Surrey Wildlife Trust Outdoor First Aid Course Delegate - Andy, Land and Estate Manager

I would say that this is the most engaged I've ever been on a Frist Aid Course. Matt Fluently worked through the course without any notes. All his information about changes in First Aid Regulations and medication was extremely interesting and made everything extremely understandable. I feel more knowledgeable & confident.

I really liked his range of wounds and weapons which appeared to challenge us within the scenarios, and by having a wide range of scenarios we all learned from out own or/and each others scenarios.

Kingfisher Canoe Club Outdoor First Aid Course Delegate - Kate, Teacher and Water Sports Coach

Instructor was engaging, enthusiastic & knowledgeable, drawing on personal experiences as well as learned information.

Well organised, allowing for COVID Precautions.

Would highly recommend!

Rollestone Farm Outdoor First Aid Course Delegate - Sarah, Stable and Livery Manager

Matt was a great trainer, made sure the whole course was interesting and fun. Informal enough that everyone was relaxed and able to learn but structured and very educational - i.e. did not loose any teaching quality by being fun!

He made sure all levels of experience, confidence & understanding were catered for.

Public Outdoor First Aid Course Delegate - Rhi, works in the Equine Industry
